Salt Shield TM Bearings: These newly developed ball bearings are coated with a water-repellent coat on both the inside and outside, significantly reducing salt buildup, which can cause rotation noise. Asymmetric Compact Body: The newly developed body has completely different appearances on the left and right sides. In spinning reels, the main gear that connects to the handle axis and rotates is only present on the left side. This design focuses on simply covering this main gear, thoroughly eliminating unnecessary space, achieving a lightweight and compact body without sacrificing material thickness or strength.
Large Diameter Drive Gear: Compared to the drive gears used in traditional spinning reels, it achieves a diameter increase of up to 117% (2500-4000 series). This not only improves durability but also enables powerful winding.
Friction-Free: An improvement in the main shaft support structure makes the winding lighter, even with larger catches. The traditional structure had the main shaft moving back and forth, rubbing against the inner surface of the pinion gear, which made winding heavy. The new structure greatly improves this by supporting the main shaft within the reel body with a high-sliding bush, reducing contact friction inside the gear area (friction-free), thus lightening the winding.
